Q & A | SVP Jewellery | Introduction & Review

I am very excited to write about this brand and introduce SVP Jewellery to my blog. Sarah Parham, a British jewellery designer, launched her range in January 2014 and since then has created a unique, creative and modern style with a variety of collections that are ever-growing. Follow the link on the image below to find out more about Sarah and what SVP Jewellery stands for;

I have been lucky enough to do a little Q & A with Sarah herself this week and I hope you all enjoy reading it and hopefully gain some inspiration from it like I did;

Do you find it easy getting inspiration for new pieces and collections? – where do you gain most of your inspiration?

Yes, I find it really easy to get inspired. I trained as an Art Director and worked as a Creative director in advertising for many years which involved coming up with ideas every single day. I love finding inspiration from everywhere from my childhood to the things I love and by looking at what is around me.

When do you feel the most joy/reward from what you do?

Every aspect of the business gives my joy, from learning new techniques to networking, running the business, dealing with agents, margins and finance, each aspect has its own challenges and rewards.

What are your future goals for the next coming season?

We took the decision to concentrate just on rings – it’s what our customers love most about the brand. Every ring we design and create can be worn on any finger thanks to our adjustable band. This makes banding and stacking easy and versatile for the wearer. It enables them to change their look every day. They also make great gifts too as you know any SVP ring will be a perfect fit. This season we are developing our ranges especially our Sherbet Pip range which has proved to be very popular.

We are also launching a new business called StyleSocial. We are recruiting and training Style Directors to go out and create engaging and exciting shopping experiences for people face to face. StyleSocial will launch with six fashion accessory brands, giving customers a beautiful curated choice all brought directly to them.  For more information follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook @StyleSocialUK and to join in and get updates;

What’s your favourite social media platform for promoting your Jewellery?

We use all our channels for different things, Facebook is great for competitions and selling, Instagram is great to give people a feel of the brand and I am using Instastories to give a personal glimpse of the person behind SVP. Twitter is used for conversation and information about the brand.

Will you be attending any Jewellery shows and events in 2017?

We always visit all the main shows especially IJL, and we will also be looking for new fashion accessory brands to join us at StyleSocial. We were shortlisted at the Retail Jewellery UK Awards this year.

Sarah has created 8 beautiful collections and has recently introduced the new, galaxy inspired, Out of This World collection. SVP, synonymous for it’s adjustable band has astounded us yet again, with 10 beautiful statement rings in a variety of gemstones. They all glimmer and catch the light at different angles for a magical and truly ‘out of this world’ style. The unique gemstones used within this collection include;

-Black Star-

-Grey Moonstone-

-Pink Quartz-

-Fire Opal-

-Blue Sunstone Cabochon-

My favourite ring from this collection has got to be the below Cabochon blue Sunstone ring in gold vermeil. This is a gemstone that, quite honestly, I have never come across before, which draws me into loving it even more! The star dust like shimmer that you can see on the stone is mesmerising and will add an elegant sparkle to any outfit!

SVP have also recently introduced Mini Margot rings on top of the success of the Margot collection. I absolutely love the multi faceted gemstones that Sarah uses to create these. The emerald cuts enable you to easily stack the rings and create a multitude of glamorous and statement looks. Inspired by 1970’s cocktail fashion rings, this collection appeals to an eclectic range of women due to the choice of coloured stones that are used;

-Pink Amethyst-

-Blue Topaz-

-White Topaz-

-Green Amethyst-

-Lemon Topaz-

My absolute favourite from the Margot collection has got to be the Mini White Topaz in 18 carat yellow gold vermeil. The colour is so versatile and will match any outfit and occasion. The cut boasts elegance as it catches the light; creating a classy, feminine and high end appearance.
